She was born in Siena, Italy and married, when she was young, Bindo Bellanti, who like her belonged to the nobility of Siena.
Biography
When at the age of thirty she lost her pious and good husband whom she loved so much, she entered the Third Order of the “humiliated.” For a time he retired to the solitude of the countryside and then entered the hospital in Siena, to care for the sick until his death.
