The Augustinian bishop Anselmo Polanco and the priest Felipe Ripoll remained with the people of Teruel during the war.
Biography
They refused to save themselves by abandoning their ministry and were murdered together on February 7, 1939. The Church recognized in their dedication a true martyrdom, lived with fidelity, hope and forgiveness.
