Biography

Seven Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus were murdered during religious persecution in Spain for remaining faithful to their consecration. The community of Canet de Mar was made up of four priests and three brothers, dedicated to the formation of novices and minor seminarians. They were young, hardworking and united by prayer. After dispersing when the violence began, they were arrested at different times and executed between September and November 1936. They faced the danger with serenity, forgiveness and love for Christ, without hiding that they were religious.
