Italian consecrated laywoman, Armida Barelli mobilized thousands of young people to unite faith, culture and social responsibility.
Biography
Converted during her studies, she renounced marriage and consecrated herself privately to God. She organized the Women's Youth of Catholic Action throughout Italy, promoted missions and co-founded with Agustín Gemelli the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. He also started the Secular Institute of the Missionaries of the Royalty of Christ, opening a path of holiness in the middle of the world. He faced travel, difficulties and illness with confidence: "He will think of every difficulty."
