Augustus or Gustavus (+560)
confessor of faith
Practical advice
Trusting in God's grace, turn a routine activity into dialogue with God without leaving for tomorrow the good that you can do today.
Biography
Saint Gregory of Tours writes about him that Augustus was so crippled that he crawled on his belly when he begged. With the alms received he had a chapel built in Brives in honor of Saint Martin and he himself found healing there. Since then, he ran two small monasteries at the same time, one in Brives and the other in Saint-Symphorien, not far from the first.
