Beatriz de Silva (1424–1490)

She was the niece of Isabel la Católica, and so beautiful that she must have left court in order to escape the importunities of her admirers.
Biography
It is said that the queen, wife of John II of Castile, overcome with jealousy, locked her in a chest for three days. Beatriz then took refuge in the Cistercian convent of Toledo and in 1484 founded a contemplative Order in honor of the Immaculate Conception.
