Nephew of Robert II, King of France, Beltrán administered the small state of Comminges excellently spiritually and temporally for half a century.
Biography
Everything had been destroyed shortly before by the Frankish invasions, but Beltrán managed to completely rebuild it and recover the lost prosperity. He built beautiful Romanesque churches in the Pyrenees region of France.
Practical advice
As an offering to the Lord, begin an abandoned task again, remembering that holiness is built in the ordinary.
