(777-842) Archbishop of Vienne, France, a good and pious man, he was involved in Charlemagne's succession conflicts, in which he did not prove to be a great diplomat.
Biography
He resigned after thirty years in the episcopate, and died peacefully in the abbey of Romans-sur-Isère, founded by him.
