Sicilian Capuchin, Bernard of Corleone went from being an impulsive young man skilled with the sword to a humble brother dedicated to prayer.
Biography
After seriously wounding an adversary, he asked for forgiveness, reconciled with him and embarked on a radical path of conversion. In the convent he served as a cook and nurse, he tenderly cared for the friars and led an intense life of penance and contemplation. His story demonstrates that grace can transform a difficult temperament into meekness, service, and peace.
