Bibiana or Viviana (313–341)
Secular
Julian the Apostate, son-in-law and successor of Constantine, who was the first Christian Roman emperor, received this nickname for having renounced his baptism.
Biography
He tried to replace Christianity with a renewed polytheism and made life impossible for those who professed the religion of Christ, in some cases leading to torture and death. When his attempt to corrupt and apostatize Bibiana, a young Christian, failed, the praetor Apronianus had her tied to a column and the executioners flogged her with lead disciplines until she died.
