Venezuelan religious, Carmen Rendiles Martínez was born without her left arm and turned that limitation into an opportunity for confidence, discipline and dedication.
Biography
She joined the Servants of Jesus of the Blessed Sacrament, dedicated to Eucharistic worship and the service of priests and seminarians. When the Venezuelan branch needed to reorganize as an autonomous congregation, he prudently guided the birth of the Servants of Jesus. She was a close superior, a demanding formator and a woman of intense prayer, with a predilection for the poor, the sick and priestly vocations.
