Biography
Neapolitan priest and founder of the Missionaries of the Sacred Hearts, Cayetano Errico was a tireless preacher of mercy. From a humble family, he traveled a long way every day to study at the seminary and, even before being ordained, he visited the sick and taught catechism to children. As a priest he dedicated many hours to the confessional, popular missions, caring for the poor and Christian formation. After years of obstacles, he built a church dedicated to the Sorrowful Virgin and gathered a missionary community. He knew how to correct without discouraging and he repeated to the sinner that God loved him and waited for him.
