Clara Bosatta (1858–1887)

A young worker in a spinning mill in northern Italy, Dina Bosatta searched for her religious vocation for years.
Biography
She met Blessed Luis Guanella and took the name Clara in the small community that would become the Daughters of Saint Mary of Providence. She dedicated herself to poor girls, young workers and abandoned elderly women, assuming demanding tasks with meekness and a deep interior life. Sent to Como, she fell ill with tuberculosis and died at the age of twenty-nine. His apparent fragility hid a firm and sacrificial charity.
