Clemente Marchisio, priest (1833–1903)
Founding priest
Parish priest and founder in Piedmont, Clemente Marchisio dedicated forty-three years to his people and promoted careful service to the Eucharist.
Biography
After serving as vice-parish priest, he came to Rivalba, where he attended to catechism, the sick, families and the material needs of the community. Without taking time away from her parish ministry, she founded the Daughters of Saint Joseph to prepare with dignity everything necessary for mass and to train young people through work. He directed the institute for twenty-eight years, convinced that attention to worship should be born of love for Christ and lead to the service of others.
Practical advice
Carefully prepare today something related to mass or community prayer, also taking care of the people who participate.
