Clement Vismara (1897–1988)

Italian missionary priest, Clement Vismara served for sixty-five years in remote regions of Burma, now Myanmar.
Biography
Upon arriving he found communities without roads, schools or medical care, and for long periods he was the only Christian for many kilometers. He announced the Gospel, opened schools and orphanages, cared for the sick and welcomed numerous abandoned children. His cheerful and practical character turned great difficulties into opportunities for charity.
