Saint Cornelius (1st century) He was a Roman centurion stationed in Caesarea, Palestine.
Biography
His conversion marked the break between the nascent Church and the synagogue (Acts 10 and 11). He wanted to kneel at Peter's feet, but Peter told him: "Get up, I'm just a man." He received baptism and, from then on, was considered a Christian who did not have to be subject to the rites of the old Law. His name appears in the Roman Canon.
Practical advice
In the midst of your ordinary work, start with the most important duty and do it carefully and start again with humility if it does not go well.
