Biography
Italian Franciscan brother, Diego Oddi made poverty, work and simplicity a path to peace. He entered religious life at the age of thirty-two and for decades he toured towns as a begging brother. His serene treatment, his prayer and his closeness to the poor turned each encounter into a silent form of evangelization. He died at the age of eighty after a humble and laborious life.
