Martyr
Nicknamed Nicholas, this martyred soldier was forced to renounce the Catholic faith and stepped on the cross, but he immediately repented and returned the denarius, the price of apostasy.
Biography
He asked Emperor Minh Manh to be tried as a Christian and was strangled to death. He was canonized in 1988.
