Biography
Italian bishop of Susa, Eduardo José Rosaz was distinguished by a pastoral charity that reached even the most remote mountain parishes. As a priest he cared for the poor and, to protect and educate young people in need, he founded the Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Susa. Appointed bishop in 1877, he even visited communities that were difficult to access on foot and tried to be close to priests and faithful. He wanted to become everything for everyone in order to lead them to Christ.
