Italian laywoman and mystic, Eduviges Carboni lived holiness in the simplicity of domestic tasks and family care.
Biography
After the death of her mother she refused to join a religious community to support her father, brothers and other relatives, working as an embroiderer. He nourished an intense Eucharistic life and offered his sufferings for the conversion of sinners and peace. Those who knew her highlighted her humility, her silent service and her charity towards the poor, the sick and people in need of comfort.
