Elena Aiello (1895–1961)
Founding religious
Italian nun and founder, Elena Aiello combined a deep spiritual participation in the Passion of Christ with service to abandoned girls.
Biography
After a religious experience interrupted by serious health problems, in 1928 he began a work of hospitality together with a companion. From her was born the Congregation of the Minimum Sisters of the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ, dedicated to the poor, orphans and needy. Despite illnesses and painful mystical phenomena, he maintained intense charitable activity.
