Saint Emma (+1300) Wife of Richard “Fearless”, chief of Normandy, she was the mother of King Saint Edward of England, whom she knew how to train very well in his faith and customs.
Biography
Her son could say about her: “The only sadness she caused us in her entire life was that she died.” For many centuries, the right hand of Saint Emma, with which she distributed so many alms to the poor, has been preserved intact.
