Biography
Epaphras worked hard in Colossae, Laodicea and Hierapolis in spreading the Gospel. Saint Paul calls him "a dear fellow servant" and "faithful minister of Christ."
He was a companion in captivity of Saint Paul, according to what the Apostle himself states in the Letter to Philemon, verse 23.
