Biography
Spanish nun, Esperanza de Jesús—María Josefa Alhama Valera—founded the Handmaids and Children of Merciful Love. After years of misunderstandings, investigations and proven obedience, he spread the certainty that God is a good Father who seeks the sinner with mercy. During the war he cared for the needy and later built a sanctuary and shelter works in Collevalenza. His mission united trust in God, service to the poor, support for priests and willingness to start again after each trial.
