Young Colombian religious, from the Hospitaller Order of San Juan de Dios, who were studying nursing in Spain to be able to better care for the mentally ill to whom they had dedicated their lives.
Biography
They were tending a home for this type of sick person in Ciempozuelos, near Madrid, when envoys from the Spanish communist government ordered them to leave the facility and took them as prisoners to Madrid. The Colombian Consul managed to free them and give them passports to leave the country, but they were arrested again, tortured and murdered, for the sole reason of being Catholic religious.
