Esteban Sándor, martyr (1914–1953)

Hungarian Salesian brother, Esteban Sándor educated young workers through vocational training, oratory and a joyful Christian life.
Biography
A printing technician and war veteran, he returned to his mission even when the communist regime suppressed religious congregations. He was able to flee, but decided to stay to clandestinely accompany his former students. He was arrested, tortured and executed in Budapest for hatred of the faith.
