Carmelite nun from India, Euphrasia Eluvathingal was known as the "mobile tabernacle" for her constant union with God and her life of prayer offered by the Church.
Biography
Baptized with the name Rosa in Kerala, she overcame family resistance and serious health problems to join the Sisters of the Mother of Carmel. She served as a novice teacher, superior, and nurse, training the young women with discipline and tenderness. His letters to the bishop reveal an intense mystical life, obedience and participation in the sufferings of Christ. Although she sought to remain hidden, many people came to her for advice and prayer.
