Biography
Italian nun and superior of the Little Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Eugenia Picco found in the Eucharist the strength to overcome a painful family youth. He grew up in an unstable environment contrary to his vocation, but he persevered in prayer and sought an entirely consecrated life. She entered the community founded by Blessed Agustín Chieppi, was novice teacher and later general superior. He promoted education, assistance to the poor and care for the wounded during the war. She wanted to be, like the Eucharistic bread, humble, accessible and given to all.
