Felipe Rinaldi, priest (1856–1931)
Salesian missionary priest
Third successor of Saint John Bosco, Felipe Rinaldi consolidated the Salesian Family and awakened a broad missionary vocation at the service of young people.
Biography
He discovered his calling at the age of twenty-one thanks to the personal accompaniment of Don Bosco and was ordained a priest in 1882. As a trainer and superior he promoted Salesian works in Spain, took care of the formation of the laity and gave rise to the secular institute of the Don Bosco Volunteers. Since 1921 he led the congregation with meekness, practicality and confidence. He promoted Christian education to reach popular environments and mission lands.
Practical advice
Accompany a young person today with a sincere question about their vocation and listen to them without rushing the answer.
