Biography
The son of a Syrian soldier, Felix was a priest in Nola, near Naples, Italy. In the persecution of Decius he was imprisoned until an angel broke his chains so that he would go and save the old bishop. In another chase, Felix lost all his property. When they wanted to make him a bishop, Félix refused, just as he refused when he could have recovered his property. He preferred to remain just another priest and go unnoticed in the service of his parish.
