Francis Xavier Bianchi (1743–1815)

Barnabite priest called "apostle of Naples", Francis Xavier Maria Bianchi united a solid culture with spiritual direction and charity.
Biography
He was a professor and held important positions, but he preferred to personally accompany penitents, the sick and the poor. A painful illness immobilized and ulcerated his legs for the last thirteen years; Even so, he continued celebrating Mass and receiving those who sought advice. His patience and giving sustained many during times of political and social upheaval. He died in Naples on January 31, 1815.
