December 8
Frida, Edith and Sabina
Religious
They lived in the times of the Anglo-Saxon Heptarchy, when there were seven kings in England.
Biography
All three were daughters of kings and all three, determined to embrace the religious state, had refused to marry their fiancés. The three headed to Rome where they hoped to enter a convent. Not far from the French coast, between Saint-Omer and Cassel, in a forest where they had stopped to pray, they were found by the three rejected princes who murdered them.
