Missionary bishop and martyr in Cheng-Tou, China; He increased the number of faithful and catechumens and promoted the indigenous clergy.
Biography
He crowned his missionary work, carried out for forty years, with martyrdom through beheading. He was beatified by Leo XIII on May 27, 1900.
