Biography
When his parents died he went to Paris where he lived in a partial seclusion regime. Despite being a simple village woman, she came to have great influence over the entire society, starting with the king, and was favored with extraordinary graces. He is credited with the defeat of Attila the Hun through his prayers and those of all the people whom he convinced to have faith and pray insistently for the salvation of the city and its inhabitants. When Genevieve died, the city of Paris already considered her its patron saint, and it still is today.
