William of Bourges (†1209)
Bishop
This saint became an ecclesiastic to prosper, but he converted, renounced his prebends and secluded himself in the abbey of Grandmont and later in that of Chalis.
Biography
He was elected bishop against all his will. He oriented his work towards the poor, prisoners and the abandoned sick. His reputation for holiness was such that Pope Honorius III canonized him just eight years after his death.

Without seeking recognition, thank you for the good received through the sacraments, placing the result in the hands of God.
