Practical advice
Profess your faith today with respect and clarity in a situation where it would be more comfortable to hide it.
Biography
Armenian Catholic Archbishop of Mardin, Ignatius Maloyan remained faithful to Christ during the persecution against Armenians in the Ottoman Empire. He was arrested along with numerous worshipers, tortured and falsely accused of conspiracy. He refused several times to save his life by converting to Islam and, before dying, he encouraged his companions and distributed the bread he managed to consecrate to them as viaticum. He was assassinated on June 11, 1915 after publicly professing his faith.
