Agnes of Bohemia (1211–1282)

Princess born in Prague, Agnes of Bohemia rejected several marriage alliances designed to increase the power of her family and chose to consecrate herself to God.
Biography
Inspired by Saint Francis and Saint Clare, she used her assets to found a hospital, a monastery of Poor Clares, and works for the poor and sick. He maintained a fruitful spiritual friendship with Saint Clare of Assisi and embraced a life of prayer, poverty and service. His resignation was not contempt for the world, but freedom to put his position and resources at the service of those most in need.
