Isabel Sanna (1788–1857)
Widow
Sardinian wife and mother, Isabel Sanna had her arms partially paralyzed since childhood, but she learned to work, take care of her home and educate her children.
Biography
Widowed after seventeen years of marriage, she traveled on a pilgrimage and stayed permanently in Rome due to health problems. There he met Saint Vincent Pallotti, joined his apostolic work and turned his house into a place of prayer and catechism. Her disability did not extinguish her motherhood or her service; It led her to depend more on God and the community.
