His family was originally from Cartagena, Spain.
Biography
He was the youngest of four siblings: San Leandro, Fulgencio and Florentina. He fought against the Arian heresy, still widespread among the Visigoths. A distinguished writer, he convened and presided over numerous councils, contributing decisively to the flourishing of religious life in Spain.
