Jaime Hilario Barbal
Religious educator and martyr
A member of the Brothers of the Christian Schools whose civil name was Manuel Barbal Cosán.
Biography
Progressive deafness prevented him from continuing to teach, but he kept serving in humble tasks. During the religious persecution of 1936, he was executed by firing squad in Tarragona because he was a religious brother.
