Italian bishop and founder of the Oblates of Saint Joseph, José Marello taught to be extraordinary in ordinary things.
Biography
As a priest of Asti he worked in the curia, confessed, directed spiritually, catechized young workers and maintained a home for the elderly. He founded a community inspired by Saint Joseph to discreetly serve local Churches and educate youth. Appointed bishop of Acqui, he visited the parishes and promoted unity, catechesis and the participation of the laity. He died while carrying out a pastoral commitment despite his fragile health.
