Spanish Trinitarian priest, Juan Bautista de la Concepción promoted the reform of his Order to recover the primitive rule, poverty, prayer and redemptive service.
Biography
He encountered internal and external resistance, but acted with firmness, obedience and charity, without confusing renewal with harshness. He founded numerous houses and wrote spiritual works that express his desire to be conformed to Christ. His life teaches that authentic reform begins with personal conversion and remains united to the Church.
