Spanish religious hospitaller, Juan Grande Román renewed the care of the sick and poor in Jerez de la Frontera.
Biography
After abandoning commerce to seek his vocation, he adopted the name "John Sinner" and began serving prisoners, convalescents, and abandoned people. He founded a hospital and joined the Order of Saint John of God, organizing assistance with charity and efficiency. He died of infection while caring for victims of a plague epidemic.
