A French nun, Juana Delanoue went from actively seeking the prosperity of her store to living entirely for the poor.
Biography
Born in Saumur, she helped support her large family as a child and became an active merchant, even on holidays. At the age of twenty-seven, a call to care for those in need transformed his life. She opened her house to orphans, the elderly, the sick and helpless women, and founded the Servants of the Poor, today the Sisters of Saint Anne of Providence. Without secure resources, he multiplied shelters and works, boldly trusting in God.
