Juana María Countess Lluch (1862–1916)

Valencian religious and founder of the Slaves of Mary Immaculate, Juana María Condesa Lluch perceived the harsh conditions of the young workers of her city.
Biography
Despite initial opposition, he opened a house where they received accommodation, education, job training and Christian accompaniment. She wanted her sisters to humbly serve Christ present in the workers. Her work anticipated many initiatives to protect and promote women. He lived the Eucharist as a source of charity attentive to the social needs of his time.
