Biography
(1891-1904) Chilean girl who offered her life so that her mother, who was living in a free union with a bad and violent man, would leave him and return to her practices of piety. The Lord heard her prayers and Laurita died after suffering a long and painful illness. Her mother converted and, leaving disguised at night, managed to escape from the man who was pursuing her. Laura Vicuña has continued to perform many miracles to those who entrust her needs.
