He was born into a noble Spanish-Roman family from Cartagena, in which four brothers would reach the glory of the altars.
Biography
Leandro lived as a monk in Seville, contributing decisively to the conversion of the Visigoth prince Saint Hermenegildo, and later to that of his brother King Recaredo, with Leandro already bishop of Seville. This saint was a key figure in the splendor that the Hispano-Visigothic Church achieved in the following years.
