Priests of the Company of Jesus, who in the persecution of the Boxers were encouraging the faithful gathered in the Church of Chou-chia-ho, China, and were pierced with spears right there; It is estimated that more than three thousand Christians were gathered and with them fell the blessed María Zeng Xu, who wanted to protect Saint Leo Mangin with her body, while he administered the sacraments.
Biography
They were canonized on October 1, 2000 by John Paul II.
