Eleanor
Benedictine nun
(1225-1291) She was the daughter of the Count of Provence and sister-in-law of King Saint Louis of France.
Biography
She married Henry III of England at a young age, whose long reign was very turbulent. Upon the king's death, Eleanor became a Benedictine and lived the rest of her days in peace.
