Luis Antonio Ormières (1809–1890)
Founding priest
French priest and founder of the Sisters of the Guardian Angel, Luis Antonio Ormières dedicated more than half a century to Christian education.
Biography
In the midst of rural poverty and strong political tensions, she opened schools for children who lacked training and prepared teachers capable of combining competence and faith. He governed his work with simplicity, prudence and trust in Providence, repeating that one had to do good and let God act. His apostolate grew without losing the family spirit or personal attention.
